Tropical Depression Seven has formed east of the Caribbean. It is expected to become a tropical storm later Wednesday or Thursday. Dry air and wind shear should limit its strength, however tropical storm conditions will be possible in the Leeward and Virgin Islands by Friday morning and Puerto Rico by Saturday. Interaction with the islands will also help to keep the intensity down.
Some uncertainty is there beyond five days, but indications are that it will stay away from the U.S.
