North Korea has launched a short-range ballistic missile as it criticises the United States’ military presence in South Korea.
The missile was launched towards the sea off North Korea’s east coast on Sunday.
It reportedly flew around 570 kilometres before landing in the ocean.
The country’s defense ministry says the US’ presence in the region could be seen as a ‘preview of nuclear war.’
All of North Korea’s ballistic missile activities remain banned by United Nations Security Council resolutions.
