Eight former African heads of state have convened at an African Leadership Forum in Boksburg on Gauteng’s East Rand.
The two-day conference will discuss among others, political issues facing the continent. The conference is co-convened by former President Thabo Mbeki and Former Tanzania Head of State Benjamin Mkapa. Mbeki highlights that while the African Union would resolve on how to deal with issues plaguing the continent, implementation is a stumbling block The theme this year is Peace and Security for an integrated, united and sustainable Africa.
