Turkish troops have entered northern Syria in a bid to drive out Kurdish forces near the border.
The soldiers went into Afrin a day after Turkish jets and artillery units pounded targets belonging to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, also known as the YPG, which is considered a terror group by Ankara.
Al Jazeera’s Stefanie Dekker reports from the Turkey-Syria border.
