Nobel Peace prize winner, Aung San Suu Kyi has come under fire for not condemning the Rohingya’s prosecution in Myanmar. In April, she said “I don’t think there is ethnic cleansing going on.” She also refused to allow UN investigators access to the region. Now, the country’s UN special envoy called for Suu Kyi to step in after violence flared in Rakhine state.
